05 Feb Rhonda & Michael: A Vibrant Spring Wedding
Rhonda and Michael celebrated their marriage with a vibrant spring wedding ceremony and reception at CJ’s Off the Square in Franklin, Tennessee. It was full of colorful florals, emerald details, and, of course, dreamy food!
Rhonda spent the morning getting ready with her bridal party and toasting to the amazing day ahead! She wore a gorgeous off-the-shoulder lace wedding gown with fun dangling pearl earrings and curled hair. Her bridesmaids wore mismatched emerald green dresses and smaller versions of her colorful and bold bouquet, full of bright red, pink, purple, and blue blooms. Her bridesman matched Michael and the groomsmen, who all wore navy blue suits with emerald green ties. Michael stood out with a purple boutonnière, while the rest wore white.
Once Rhonda was dressed and ready, she had a traditional first look with Michael. The wedding party then took photos until the DJ music started playing and guests began rolling in. The ceremony took place outside in the romantic, Southern garden at CJ’s Off the Square beside their small gazebo decorated in vibrant blooms and greenery.
Once the ceremony came to an end, guests sipped cocktails and strolled through the garden until they made their way to the pavilion for the reception.
The pavilion was beautifully decorated with vibrant flowers, including the grand chandelier that was wrapped in greenery and bright blooms, then finished with hanging Edison bulbs. The tables were outfitted with floating candles, votives, emerald green napkins, gold silverware, and more vibrant florals mixed with greenery. To top off the tablescapes, mini individual charcuterie boards were pre-set at each seat for guests to munch on while they waited for dinner to be served.
Guests mingled until Dr. and Mr. Baker were introduced into the reception and shared their first dance to “Hold You in my Arms” by Ray LaMontagne. The newlyweds then gave a welcome toast and thanked everyone for coming to celebrate with them before the dinner buffet was opened!
Dinner was a delicious selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres, including chicken and waffles, steak skewers, ricotta meatballs, crab cakes, mac n’ cheese bites, street corn shooters, and mini biscuits and cornbread.
Following dinner, cake was served as Michael’s brother and Rhonda’s best friend gave speeches and toasts to the newlyweds. Once the speeches were done, everyone made their way to the dance floor and danced their hearts out until it was time for all the single ladies to make their way out for the bouquet toss!
As a late night snack, hot chicken baos were served on traditional steamed buns with maple ranch and dill pickles. Guests then continued dancing the night away until they made their way out front for a sparkler send off! Well wishes were given and the couple rode away in their getaway car.
Congratulations, Rhonda and Michael! We are honored to have been a part of your beautiful spring wedding.
