Brittany & Cody: A Classic Emerald Wedding

Brittany and Cody’s classic emerald wedding at Cedarmont Farm in Franklin, Tennessee, was a winter celebration filled with beautiful greenery and so much love.

One of the couples’ favorite things to do together is explore different hiking areas, which is why Cody’s proposal during a hike at Virgin Falls was the perfect way to start their engagement.

Fast forward to their wedding day, Brittany and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting their hair and makeup done until she was ready for a first look in her wedding dress with her girls. Brittany and Cody then had a very special moment before the ceremony where they did a first look and exchanged their vows. It was obvious by the tears how ready these two were to be husband and wife!

Their ceremony took place under a lovely emerald green wedding arch with Cedarmont’s red barn glistening in the background. Wreaths and trees lined the barn to perfectly match the winter wedding vibes. Guests’ smiles gave away how happy they were that these two finally tied the knot.

Following the ceremony, the bride and groom’s wedding parties made a tunnel for Brittany and Cody to run through to celebrate them saying their “I dos.”

Guests then headed into the reception where they were greeted by many yummy appetizers, including; caprese skewers, goat cheese tartlets, and mini chicken and waffle bites—and of course, a sweet tea and lemonade bar. The perfect mix between Southern and comfort.

After mingling during cocktail hour, dinner was served. It included honey balsamic salmon with sides of mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and delicious warm rolls. And don’t forget the citrus champagne that was served with dinner to celebrate Brittany and Cody’s big day!

The couple performed a choreographed dance before their first real slow dance, and guests went crazy. Then the glow sticks came out, Brittany changed into a jumpsuit so she could have fun on the dance floor, and everyone made their way out to the dance floor to join them!

Brittany and Cody’s day included so many fun personalized touches, from personalized marquee letters of their new shared last name, to their favorite pizza and desserts at the end of the night.

It’s obvious when two people are meant for each other, and that is definitely the case with Brittany and Cody! We are so thankful we got the chance to play a part in their beautiful, emerald day. See more photos from their gorgeous wedding below!
