01 Jun Caroline & Spencer: A Blush Boho Wedding
Caroline and Spencer’s blush boho wedding at Sycamore Farms in Arrington, Tennessee was a late summer celebration filled with beautifully simple decor and plenty of love.
On the big day, Caroline and her bridesmaids arrived on site early to start getting ready. Hair was styled by Trae Howard Hair, makeup was handled by R&Co Bridal Beauty Team, and of course we fueled everyone with morning mimosas! Caroline’s close friends were decked out in mix and match blush gowns, and they had the best reaction upon seeing her complete look for the first time before giving her the sweetest group hug. Meanwhile, Spencer and his groomsmen shared memories, got dressed and ready in their grey and navy suits, and caught up over a beer.
Before the outdoor ceremony began, the couple asked guests to turn off their phones and so they could be fully present during the ceremony—especially since everyone spent so much time apart in 2020. The couple had plenty of safety precautions in place including mini hand sanitizers and wristbands for those who respectfully wished to remain six feet apart from other guests.
When it was time to exchange vows, the couple stood in front of a lovely wedding arch that was draped in white and adorned with plenty of lush greenery. Caroline stunned in a flowing gown that was covered in delicate fabric flowers and wore a matching jeweled flower crown. The ring bearers briefly stole the show while the littlest one was pulled down the aisle in an adorable wagon. But the best part of the outdoor venue was the absolutely breathtaking view of the verdant farm grounds.
After they said “I do,” cocktail hour kicked off with jazz music by the Emerald Empire Band and guests munched on mini BLT bites, mini ham biscuits, mini beef empanadas, and more. Later, guests found their seats and enjoyed a plated garden salad before the Dream culinary team served up sweet tea-brined chicken or porcini teres major. Sides included sautéed haricot vert, honey and thyme roasted vegetables, and whipped potatoes.
After dinner, guests and family gave a few sweet wedding speeches before everyone watched the newlyweds share their first dance to “Coming Home” by Leon Bridges. After guests joined them on the dance floor and let loose with the couple, it was time for dessert. The bride and groom cut the classic white tiered wedding cake topped with blush and ivory roses, and everyone satisfied their sweet tooth at a dessert station from the Dream team, which included cheesecake bites, chocolate mousse, and key lime mini bites.
All guests in attendance received a Nashville staple as their wedding favors: fruit preserves from The Loveless Cafe. Perhaps the highlight of the night for some was the bouquet toss choreographed to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” Then, after a romantic evening and plenty of fun, it all ended with a glow stick send-off as the couple made their way to the getaway car.
It’s obvious when two people are meant to be together, and that was definitely the case for Caroline and Spencer. We are so thankful our team got to play a part in your blush boho wedding and we wish you all the best! See more photos from their sweet day below.
