As temperatures slowly climb, days get longer and slower, and the sun shines a little brighter, thoughts of sandy beaches, fresh food, and laid-back meals start dancing in our heads. This boho Baja wedding inspired shoot brought all of our oceanside dreams to life. We dare you to view these pictures and not start packing or planning for a tropical vacation. However, this wasn’t your run-of-the-mill tropical themed shoot (although we love those, too). This shoot included edgy and boho elements that made the whole event unique.

We recently collaborated with Inspired Help in a style shoot that has had us swooning and feeling incredibly inspired. As we dreamed up the menu, we pretended we were dining on the beaches of Baja, with our toes in the sand. Every element of this shoot was exotic, edgy, and boho. The industrial nature of the venue, the fresh food, and the exotic beverages came together perfectly to evoke a boho Baja wedding theme.

We created food around a Baja theme, both fresh and exotic. We prepared fresh seafood such as oysters, shrimp, and crab, and complimented them with sauces and dips. To give the feeling that one was dining al fresco listening to waves and watching the sunset, we included fresh fruits like pomegranates and papaya. Champagne with blueberries and martinis garnished with ripe blackberries also helped evoke the luxe beach vibes. As with any great wedding, the grand finale of this shoot was a cake set atop a gorgeous stand, garnished with donuts and tropical greenery.
