Madeline and Russ’s boho garden wedding in Nashville was a picture perfect early summer evening at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens. The couple originally from Indiana, met after moving to Nashville. When it was time to take the next step in their relationship, Russ knew he wanted to propose at Virago, the spot of their first date. And of course Madeline said yes!

Festivities began with a late afternoon ceremony officiated by Russ’s older brother Aaron. Madeline’s father walked her down the aisle to the song “Make You Feel My Love,” played by Chuck Callahan Music. 

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests made their way to cocktail hour. Our culinary team crafted a variety of hors d’oeuvres like mac n’ cheese bites, shrimp salad wontons, and vegetarian thai summer rolls. Later, guests were seated to a plated strawberry fields salad before indulging in a variety of dreamy food stations.

String lights from Bright Event Productions lit up the reception space while tables were adorned with sweet florals and greenery from Enchanted Florist. Wedding attendees took home koozies personalized with the day’s details and the couple’s adorable dog Murphy, as well as mason jars with M&Ms to remember the evening.

Once friends and family gave speeches, it was time for the dance floor to open! Before joining in on the fun, Madeline and Russ cut a three-tiered buttercream frosted chocolate and vanilla cake made by Nashville Sweets. For the rest of the evening, guests enjoyed spending time together both laughing and dancing with the newlyweds.
